Festive Afternoon Tea

Tradition has it that Afternoon Tea was ‘invented’ by Anna Maria, seventh Duchess of Bedford, who in 1841 started drinking tea and having a bite in the mid afternoon, to tide her over between the long gap of lunch and dinner. This swiftly developed into a social occasion which is as popular today as it was back then.

The Caledonian’s very own pastry chef has created an Afternoon Tea that combines yuletide flavours with our unique festive flair. Perfect for those wanting a wee treat over the festive period.

New Year’s Eve Hogmanay Celebration

Tuesday 31st December

Start your evening with a glass of Champagne and celebratory appetisers in our Café Bar followed by a luxurious gala dinner. Bring in the bells with our piper as you welcome 2014 with a glass of bubbly.

Then party on into the wee small hours and enjoy the rest of your evening dancing to The Broad Bay Ceilidh Band.
